Who it’s for
Guests who like landscapes more than lists. Almond blossom in Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro generally peaks from mid-February to mid-March, and the higher groves flower a little later.
It is a longer day than our others: about two hours each way from Porto, with time to walk among the groves, a regional lunch and a taste of local almond sweets.
Almond blossom is a short, weather-led season. We keep in touch about the bloom before your date, and we can suggest Winter Cellar & Lunch if the blossom is not ready or the day turns wet.

Offer window: roughly 20 February to 15 March. In a warm year the bloom can come earlier, so ask us about mid-February dates. The exact day is agreed with you from the bloom and the weather.
